I feel obsessed with this blog. I have spent a few hours today, navigating the web site to try to set it up. Sometimes successful, sometimes not. In the meantime, I ran to the Downers Grove Library to drop off some art work for the exhibit starting next week, stopped to get some more brushes for the En Plein Art workshop I am teaching tomorrow at the Naper Settlement. Ran back home to this blog set up, thing. I hope to have more interesting things to share in the future. I do need some assistance to learn the nuances of this thing. If nothing else, it is a way of journaling that I have been meaning to do now, for the past few years. I have at least ten completed journals from years ago, but somewhere along the way, stopped.
The piece I brought to the exhibit was not what I intended to bring; however; I have been so busy with the art fair (organizing it) and the exhibit Restoration (organizing it ) that my own work and needs were placed on the bottom of the "to do list." That will be changing in the future.
The piece, "Sybil", and is a mask of clay. One of a series of "Sybil" pieces I have done and will continue to do until they are out of my system. More later on why, "Sybil".......

Nancy, I can relate to the frustration in setting up a blog. It's taken me a few months to get the hang of it but now I feel comfortable with the whole thing. I just read "The Financial Side of Art" in the Glen Ellyn News and noticed you are mentioned quite a bit. I'm an oil painter from Glen Ellyn and would love to read anything you have to say on your blog.
